Call For Papers

The ANZCED 2007 Conference Organising Committee invites you to submit a proposal to present a paper or poster at the Hobart Conference in 2007. Preference will be given to papers and posters which focus on the conference theme: “Down under and leading the world”

Papers are sought on a variety of topics relevant to the education of Deaf and Hearing Impaired children and suggested areas include:
* Bilingual/Bicultural Education
* Technology and Deaf and Hearing Impaired children
* Teaching Strategies and Curriculum
* Social and Emotional Development

Abstracts
Acceptance of papers and posters for presentation will be on the basis of reviewed abstracts. Please submit an abstract of your paper/poster of approximately 250 words. The Program committee has requested that all abstracts be submitted in an electronic form as a Word Document by email to Gwen Colloff “ANZCED 2007 Executive Officer” gcolloff@aapt.net.au

Important Dates
Closing date for submission of abstracts: 15th March 2007
Acceptance notification will commence on the 15th of April 2007

Papers
Paper presentations will be of thirty (30) minutes duration. The presentations will be programmed to run as concurrent sessions.

Posters
Posters will be on display for the duration of the conference. Designated times will be allocated to the author/s of the poster to discuss their presentation.
